Ismosys has added Digital Content Media Services to its marketing mix. The programme provides the pan-European sales, marketing and operations provider and the component manufacturers it represents with the ability to deliver the latest collateral, content and services directly to design engineers at the point of need, via mobile devices and the web.

As demand creation grows in Europe’s design focused market place, the electronics design engineering community is turning to digital platforms to identify, explore and select components, tools and services.

It gives the design-engineering community instant and multi channel access to content. Companies are able to store, organise and share it all in one place, adding a new dimension to component discovery.

According to Ismosys’ Managing Director Nigel Watts, design engineers require a convenient and effective means to access the latest information and support in order to make crucial design decisions: “With the Ismosys DCMS programme, engineers will be able to access the latest content at the point of need via virtually any device,” Watts said. “This ‘first’ for the electronics industry will assist the crucial decision-making that could influence the technology landscape.”

Ismosys has achieved the introduction of the DCMS programme by partnering with California based Zoomifier Corporation, who have pioneered a cloud based content management platform that will allow for a deeper level of interaction and support with content and collateral.
