Acal BFi has joined forces with VCA Technology to offer VCA’s intelligent thermal imaging IP camera series which incorporate VCA’s highly acclaimed video analytics to its European customer base.
It brings what Acal BFi describes as an affordable thermal imaging solution that not only allows for faster reaction time, due to its capability to detect early intrusion even at long range, but also saves costs in the long term, due to the system’s ability to minimise the time consuming and costly impact of false alarms.
“VCA’s video analytics technology is revolutionising the security and surveillance markets, and should be considered an essential choice for installers and system integrators. VCA is a valuable extension to Acal BFi’s thermal imaging portfolio, elevating the excellent range of imaging products that we already supply to the next level.” said Alex Schneider, European Business Development Director for imaging products at Acal BFi.
“Acal BFI’s in-depth knowledge and understanding of thermal imaging solutions for military and security surveillance applications, make them an ideal partner to help us identify new business opportunities within these sectors,” said Kevin Waterhouse, Executive Vice President, Global Sales for VCA. “We are looking forward to supporting the Acal BFI team in their efforts to raise awareness of how the VCA analytic technology incorporated into our cameras can ensure end-users achieve maximum ROI from their investment in a surveillance system.”
VCA’s video analytics solutions cover a wide range of security and surveillance applications such as intrusion detection, vehicle monitoring, tailgating detection and camera tamper detection. Based on computer vision algorithms, unique logical rules capabilities and over 50 man-years of research and development, VCA’s analytics software continuously adapts to environmental changes and rejects sources of false alarms.
Acal BFI will be showcasing VCA’s intelligent thermal imaging IP camera series at IFSEC International 2016 (June 21-23) at Excel London.
