RS Components has been named ‘Distributor of the Year 2013’ by Schaffner, a leading supplier of EMC/EMI components, harmonic filters and magnetic components.
The award recognises the substantial efforts of the RS product team, which has worked in close cooperation with Schaffner to achieve unparalleled sales growth for the brand during the past twelve months.

Schaffner components are deployed in energy-efficient drive systems and electronic motor controls, in wind power and photovoltaic systems, rail technology, machine tools and robots as well as power supplies for numerous electronic devices in sectors such as medical technology or telecommunications. RS currently stocks around 600 parts within the range.
