RS Components (RS) has signed a partnership agreement with Zerynth, a start-up company that develops ‘middleware’ software for Internet of Things (IoT) projects and applications. A beta version of a significant new platform – DesignSpark Marketplace – has been unveiled by RS Components. It enables makers, pro-makers, start-ups and small businesses to promote and sell their own inventions and product creations to a wide audience of fellow makers and engineers, including more than 650,000 members of the RS DesignSpark engineering and maker community.
A new app for iOS, Android and Windows devices has been released by RS Components. The DesignSpark Toolbox app is available to download free-of-charge, and provides a single point of access to common electronic reference materials, calculation and conversion tools in an easy-to-use format for electronics design engineers, makers and students.
