RS Components has received an award from Teledyne LeCroy in recognition of exceptional sales growth during 2015. Having achieved in excess of £1 million of product sales worldwide, RS is now one of the primary high service distribution (HSD) partners of Teledyne LeCroy.
Frank McCoubrey, Worldwide HSD Channel Sales Manager at Teledyne LeCroy, said: “2015 was an exceptionally strong year for Teledyne LeCroy sales through our high service distribution partners globally. The introduction of several new product families and the continued growth in sales of our unique HDO4000 12 bit oscilloscope have allowed us to carve a very important slice of the HSD market. RS has been critical in our ability to target key customer segments through its in-stock capability and website technical content. This has led them to deliver a strong double-digit growth, which this award is designed to recognise.”
Graham Cave, Global Category Manager at RS, responded: “This award reflects the successful collaboration we have managed to develop. We have gone from a standing start four years ago, when we didn’t stock any Teledyne LeCroy products, to becoming their strongest distributor within the EMEA HSD distribution market. We sold more than £1 million of the company’s products in 2015, a performance that has also earned us, through negotiation, worldwide exclusive special pricing on some of their products.”
