RS Components has won the ‘Distributor of the Year Award 2012’ from MH Connectors. The award was presented at Electronica 2012, the 25th international trade fair for electronic components, systems and applications, held in Munich, Germany, November 13-16.
MH Connectors bestowed the award to RS in acknowledgement of the longstanding partnership between the two companies that has spanned more than 20 years, during which time RS has contributed consistently to the business success of the interconnect company.
During the past 24 months, RS has almost doubled its sales of MH’s D-sub hood connector range, achieving a notable 48% growth rate for the period. RS stocks more than 170 lines from MH Connectors in its product offer, and it has recently extended the range to include the company’s new D-sub connector kits. This outstanding sales performance over the past two years can be attributed largely to the focused eCommerce strategy from RS, which is at the core of a number of successful online initiatives to accelerate the find, design and buy experience for customers.
