RS becomes contracted supplier for NHS trusts and pan-government bodies
RS Components has secured a three-year NHS and pan-government estates framework agreement recognising the company as a framework provider of electrical sundries, electronic components, lamps and tubes.
The NHS Purchasing and Supply Agency (PASA) oversaw the tender process, which took approximately two years and was awarded on the following criteria: price, quality, sustainability and risk.
“We are extremely pleased to secure this agreement,” commented Paul Quested, General Manager at RS. “Being selected as a contracted supplier demonstrates the high standard of service provided by RS.”
The agreement covers all UK contracting authorities including, but not limited to: government departments and their agencies, NHS bodies, local authorities, police authorities, fire authorities, educational establishments and corporate agents.
Rachael Farmer, Category Specialist for Estates at the NHS Purchasing and Supply Agency said: “This new framework agreement from NHS PASA is available to the entire public sector. It provides a flexible, sustainable and competitive solution to the on-going management and maintenance of the government estate.
