KOE Europe’s Lite+ TFT LCDs, now available from Gleichmann Electronics, will target applications where there are high demands on optical performance for a cost-effective price.
The 5in. (12.7 cm) TX13D06VM2BAA with WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) resolution has mechanical outline dimensions of 120.0mm x 80.7mm x 8.0mm and features a brightness of 1000cd/m² and a 500:1 contrast ratio. The industry standard 40-pin, 6-bit RGB CMOS interface simplifies design in and supports a 262,000 colour palette.
The 10.4-inch (26.4 cm) TX26D19VM2BAA display module has a 20-pin single channel LVDS interface that supports 8-bit RGB and enables a 16.7m colour palette. If necessary, brightness can be increased to 800cd/m² by driving the LED backlight with an increased current of 20mA, though this shortens the white LED backlight lifetime.
Both disdplays support an operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C. The white LED backlight provides a guaranteed 50,000 hours half brightness lifetime.
The KOE Europe Lite+ TFT-LCD product line up will be expanded during the course of 2013 to include displays with 6.2in. (15.75 cm), 70in. (18 cm), 8in. (20.3 cm) and 15in. (38.1 cm) screen diagonals. Applications include medical, process control and industrial automation.
