Thomas Staudinger has been named as President of EBV Elektronik effective January 1, 2021. In this role he will continue to report to Slobodan Puljarevic, President Avnet EMEA, Global Design Chain & Supplier Management.

Staudinger who currently holds the position of Senior Vice President Sales & Demand Creation, joined EBV in 2012 and since then has reshaped EBV’s vertical segments, supplier marketing, marketing communications and since mid-2018, the EBV sales organisation. Before that he spent five years in various senior executive sales & marketing roles at NXP Semiconductors.

Trained in finance and electrical engineering, he started his career at Siemens in 1992, before joining Giesecke & Devrient and Infineon, before moving to NXP in 2007.

The appointment is part of a strategy by Avnet Interim CEO Phil Gallagher to drive greater alignment and best practice sharing across Avnet’s global demand generation, supplier development and go-to-market strategies for its IoT and Avnet Integrated capabilities.

Slobodan Puljarevic will oversee global supplier management, Avnet Design Services and the design chain strategy in support of the value proposition to accelerate growth for Avnet.
