Electrocomponents has promoted Mike England to the new position of Chief Operating Officer (COO).
He will remain a member of the Senior Management Team and will continue to report directly to Lindsley Ruth, Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
In his new role, England will help to drive the Group’s long-term strategy, aligning go-to-market, digital and customer and supplier centric activities across the globe.
He will continue to lead the EMEA region in the near term until a new President EMEA has been appointed.
England joined the Electrocomponents Group in November 2015 to lead the turnaround of the company’s UK business.
He has been President EMEA for the last two years where he has been responsible for the commercial operation and business transformation of the EMEA region.
