Registration has begun for Electronic Design’s virtual tradeshow and web conference
Electronic components distributor Digi-Key Corporation, recognized by design engineers as having the industry’s broadest selection of electronic components available for immediate shipment, is set to sponsor Electronic Design’s LEDs and Solid State Lighting Web Conference and Tradeshow.
The virtual event takes place June 14, 2011 from 9:30 a.m. EDT until 6 p.m. EDT.
The event will consist of a track of extensive webinar sessions, virtual booths, and a keynote address by LED market leader, Cree, on the future evolution of high-brightness LEDs and the myriad of applications that will spawn over the next decade. The conference will investigate the practical day-to-day challenges of designing LED lighting solutions, such as heat dissipation, driving and controlling LEDs, and other aspects of LED designs.
Webinar sessions feature speakers from Lumex, Cree, Texas Instruments, and National Semiconductor, as they discuss topics such as developments in custom LED technology, lighting revolutions, the roles of microcontrollers in solid-state lighting applications, and more.
