Electronic components distributor Digi-Key Corporation, recognized by design engineers as having the industry’s broadest selection of electronic components available for immediate shipment, today announced its Lighting Solutions TechZone™ magazine is the first e-book in the electronic component industry available in iPad/HTML5 format.
“When customers access the main TechZone magazine landing page from their iPad devices, they will see a dedicated iPad/HTML5 version of the Lighting Solutions TechZone magazine,” said Tony Harris, Digi-Key’s chief marketing officer (CMO). “Our competitors’ e-books are Flash-based; our TechZone magazine is the first e-book available in the iPad/HTML5 format and is a great resource for the newest innovations in electronic components. We are excited to offer the iPad/HTML5 capability to our customers for the most recent lighting issue and for all future issues of TechZone magazine.”
In addition to providing iPad/HTML5 versions of TechZone magazine, Digi-Key will also provide iPad/HTML5 versions of the Digi-Key catalog in the future.
