Anglia Components has received the TDK Silver Distribution Award for Outstanding Business Performance in 2016.

Speaking at the European Distribution Awards ceremony in Munich, Dietmar Jaeger, Vice President Distribution at TDK, said, “I would like to congratulate Anglia. As a highly professional distributor with a strong market position in the UK, they have demonstrated excellent performance with our products and proven that they are worthy repeat winners of our Senten Manten Award.”

Anglia has previously won awards from TDK in both the 2013 and 2014 honours. The annual assessment of distribution partners is based on TDK’s Senten Manten program, a Japanese term that stands for the perfect result that can be achieved with 1000 points.

The award recognises the distributor’s performance and collaboration with TDK in four categories: business performance, inventory management, contractual terms and operational excellence.

Commenting, John Bowman, Marketing Director, Anglia Components, said, “This award is a real testament to the strength of our business.  We are continually investing in our business and winning another award from TDK further validates the efforts we make to provide an excellent service to our customers and suppliers alike.  We are very proud indeed to have won this award and continue our fantastic working relationship with TDK.”

Anglia CEO Steve Rawlins, recently announced ambitious growth plans for Anglia in the next five years as they aim for £100 million turnover and a 10% share of the UK electronic component distribution market.
