Premier Farnell today announces its North American business has helped it achieve 39th position in this year’s Mutichannel Merchants (MCM) 100 List, one of only two high-service distributors to make it into the top 40.

The list, which has just been announced, ranks the top 100 multichannel merchants by direct sales and recognises the increase of Premier Farnell’s North American business unit, which trades as Newark/element14, in excess of 20% in the years 2009 to 2010.
Kevin Yapp, Chief Marketing Office for Premier Farnell, commented: “We have focused heavily on our multichannel model over the past couple of years, improved the customer experience and our sales process and have seen the benefits of this. We offer our customers more sales channels, which sets us apart from our competitors.”
