Reflex CES, a provider of Modified-Off-The-Shelf (MOTS) solutions for embedded and complex systems has announced a distribution agreement with Curtiss-Wright Controls Defense Solutions (CWCDS). The agreement, which is valid throughout France, covers the distribution of the CWCDS data recorder product range as well as the implementation of the associated software package, MCSR (Multi-Channel Synchronous Recording), that supports sFPDP, Gigabit Ethernet and 10GbE protocols.

The deal allows Reflex CES to offer its customers a complete portfolio of data recorders, from the COTS-based on-the-shelf recorder systems to the realisation of a custom-designed system based on Reflex CES proven platforms, together with the necessary expertise needed to design and customise industrial and rugged embedded systems.

“We are very excited to be working with Reflex CES to bring our ITAR-free recorder products to France,” said Lynn Bamford, senior vice president and general manager of Curtiss-Wright Controls Defense Solutions. “With Reflex CES providing front line consultation and support for our high performance, rugged recorder products, it provides an opportunity to grow Curtiss-Wright’s market share in France.”

Sylvain Neveu, Reflex CES co-founder and COO noted: “This agreement allows us to bring even more value to our customers by offering high-technology recorder products on a COTS basis, plus the capability to integrate these products into an existing system, or to modify and customize these products to suit a wide range of environments and applications.” He added: “Curtiss-Wright’s extensive high bandwith multichannel data recording portolio completes our recently announced 1.6GBps high-speed data recorder line, to provide our customers with the largest choice of recording solutions in France, placing Reflex CES as a leading player in this market.

Curtiss-Wright’s data recorders portfolio includes video recorders, customer programmable, and fixed feature recorders. Reflex CES has moved fast and can already claim a success story with Thales, as a direct result of the new agreement with Curtiss-Wright. It has undertaken the custom design and implementation of a recorder powered by the MCSR software and a Curtiss-Wright Gigabit Ethernet capture PCI Express board integrated and customised in an existing Reflex CES platform.
With a dedicated design team of more than twenty engineers with long experience and a solid reputation in serving the military /aerospace and telecommucations markets, Reflex CES has a successful track record in project management. Reflex CES has been ISO-9001 certified since 2008.
