Arrow Electronics and IMST have signed a cooperation agreement regarding the sale and distribution of wireless systems and solutions. In future, Arrow will market and distribute IMST`s wireless modules. As part of the agreement, Arrow offers its customers design support and certifications for wireless solutions. Through the cooperation between the two companies, Arrow customers have access to the pre-certified WiMOD radio modules from IMST for the royalty-free ISM bands, including, for example, the iM871A-Wireless M bus module. The module has a measured open-air range of 3,000 metres and minimum power consumption of 50nA when idle.
