In addition to meeting high-performance demands, the ruggedized and interchangeable SO-DIMM carrier modules are capable of being used as plug-in replacements for other industry-standard embedded computing modules – for example, those based on the Atmel AT32AP7000, AT32AP7001 and AT32AP7002 application processors, which are now not being recommended for new designs.
