EBV Elektronik has appointed Markus Kirschner to take full ownership of the EBV Procurement and Commodity Marketing activities.
The Strategic Product Planning, Operations and Commodity Marketing divisions will directly report to him. Kirschner will be a member of the EBV Executive Board and continue to report to Christian Meier, President and COO of EBV.
Kirschner started his EBV career in 1999 as Product Manager FPGAs and Optocoupler, moving into a Senior Product Manager Power Mosfets role in 2004. In June 2007 he was promoted to Director Procurement Planning, Business Unit Discrete. He also opened EBV’s Hong Kong operation in 2009, with an eight-month local assignment.
Before joining EBV, he completed a Retail Sales Apprenticeship and graduated with an extra-occupational Bachelor of Trade and Commerce degree.
