Harwin is to co-sponsor leading IndyCar driver Tony Kanaan in the 2013 Izod IndyCar Series with Mouser Electronics. tickets, pit passes and accommodation.
Champion driver Kanaan, who drove the No. 11 Mouser Electronics/Geico/KV Racing Technology Chevrolet/Firestone IndyCar logged seven top six finishes in the 2012 season, including three podium showings – a season high second place at Milwaukee and two outstanding 3rd place finishes at Iowa and the podium finish at the Indianapolis 500.
Harwin’s connector products such as Datamate and Gecko are used in many Auto-Sport applications including Formula 1 and IndyCar to ensure signal integrity even when undergoing the stresses and strains of high speed racing where cars are subject to several G when cornering.
