Digi-Key employee Craig Bakke also recognized as Product Manager of the Year
lectronic components distributor Digi-Key Corporation, recognized by design engineers as having the industry’s broadest selection of electronic components available for immediate shipment, today announced Micro Commercial Components (MCC) has named Digi-Key the “Distributor of the Decade.”
Pamela Cheng, vice president of (MCC), presented the award to Craig Bakke, product manager for MCC at Digi-Key, during a ceremony held Sept. 29, 2010 at Digi-Key Corporation headquarters in Thief River Falls, Minnesota. Bakke also received the Product Manager of the Year award from MCC for providing excellent service to the company.
“Micro Commercial Components has partnered with Digi-Key Corporation for 10 years now. Digi-Key has been an asset in the growth of MCC,” Cheng said. “Digi-Key continues to create new and innovative programs that set them apart from other distributors.”
“To be named Distributor of the Decade is quite an honor for Digi-Key; especially given the extreme volatility in business cycles over this period,” said Dave Doherty, Digi-Key’s vice president of semiconductor product. “We value our partnership with MCC and will strive for continued success over the next decade.”
