Following successful negotiations with Würth Elektronik, Farnell, the leading distributor of electronic and industrial components, has secured three month exclusivity on Würth’s new WE-PMI (Power Multilayer Inductor) range. This announcement reflects Farnell’s sustained focus on being the first to introduce the latest technologies and products to market. Farnell will be communicating this exclusive new product addition to customers via its established online communications channels.
The compact surface mount WE-PMI multilayer inductor range is offered in a 1008 case size and has a current capability up to 1A. DC resistance values are below 0.3 ohms.
WE-PMI inductors are suited to use in DC/DC converter designs and in particular those with high switching frequencies. Typical end applications include PDAs and digital cameras.
