Arrow Electronics has signed a global distribution agreement with Silex Technology, a supplier of reliable Wi-Fi connectivity solutions.
“With Silex Technology Wi-Fi modules, Arrow customers can add Wi-Fi connectivity to their products and create more marketable devices,” said Keith Sugawara, vice president of business development for Silex. “Silex provides a turn-key, one-vendor solution including pre- and post-integration support to help our customers get to market quickly and troubleshoot post-sale field problems efficiently.”
Silex Technology is a Freescale Proven Partner and created the Freescale-recommended Wi-Fi solution for i.MX6-based products. It is also one of ten Qualcomm Atheros Authorised Design Centres in the world, with radio source code and access to Qualcomm Atheros engineering to provide customers with the high level of support that they require. Users can purchase Silex Technology modules to add Wi-Fi connectivity to their Freescale i.MX6- and Kinetis-based applications.
