GradConn Interconnect recently introduced the BB02-xF series U-Shaped thru hole connectors for planar PCB mating with 2.00mm pitch spacing.
These U-Shaped one piece headers are available in single in line or dual in line and provide an economical option for a one piece ‘fit and forget’ solution, either solder direct into the PCB or use a vertical socket on each PCB if access space is tight and retro fitting the connection from above is desirable.
Alternatively plugging to vertical PCB sockets is particularly effective in applications where assembly space is limited allowing headers to be retro fitted after LED lighting strips are in place.
