“In our 2010 program we introduced two new awards. The Diamond Award is presented to the supplier with the highest total score exclusive of special recognition points and the Best Quality Award is presented to the supplier who achieved the highest score in all of the Quality categories. Murata received both new awards in addition to their Platinum level award for 2010 performance, so extra congratulations must go to all employees of Murata. But we know that every company that compiles enough points to be included in our roll call of honours can only do so because of the outstanding efforts of their team members and we want to thank all the individuals involved for helping to drive our mutual success.

On emerging as top-performing supplier with three awards, Terry Churcher Murata President, EMEA said: “We are proud to have maintained our top position for the seventh year in succession in one of the most stringent supplier evaluation systems in the world. I would like to emphasize that such results would not be possible without professional and dedicated teams within TTI and Murata and I would like to extend my thanks to all the people who made this happen. I am confident that the TTI – Murata combination will continue to ensure our mutual customers receive the very highest level of service and remain the most satisfied in the industry.”

Receiving the award for Molex, Henry Fürniss VP Sales & Marketing EMEA stated: “It’s a real honour to receive this award again this year, as it recognises our distribution approach with strategic partners. Both TTI and Molex have the same very clear goal of being able to give the right service level to our customers, and our combined design-in expertise and NPI programs have been key to this success. We would like to thank TTI for their continued support and commitment towards Molex.”

Speaking on behalf of Bourns, Ferdinand Leicher, Vice President Sales Bourns EMEA noted: “Bourns believes in and focuses on delivering great service to our customers and distribution partners. Marc Kotelon, Sr. Vice President, Global Sales, KEMET Corporation explained: “2010 brought extreme growth to the European Electronics Industry. However, with this welcome growth came many difficult challenges on all fronts for Electronics Components manufacturers. Being acknowledged by TTI for Supplier Excellence Award means one must provide industry-leading service, quality, and innovation. Meeting these demands would not be possible without the dedicated KEMET and TTI professionals from around Europe. And through this partnership and with continued efforts, we hope to maintain this great performance in the years to come!”

Michael Sievers, Director Key Account Management at Phoenix Contact continued the theme: “2008 and 2009 were very uncertain due to the difficult economic situation, then the rapid recovery last year posed a huge challenge in terms of our delivery performance for our customers.
