Toumaz, the leading provider of ultra-low energy wireless telemetry technologies for consumer, industrial and internet-connected devices, today announces that its TELRAN products are now set to be available via Mouser’s extensive global network.

With the global distribution agreement in place, Mouser will support its customers with Toumaz’s Ultra Low Energy Wireless technologies and products from the TELRAN family including the TZ1053 device, the associated TELRAN Development Kit (TDK) and production RF Modules. TELRAN is an ultra-low energy radio solution for wireless sensor networks, remote controls, green energy solutions, smart meters and environmental monitoring. The TZ1053 high-performance sub-1GHz radio SoC offers operation down to 1V using a single button cell battery or harvested energy sources and draws less than 3mW continuous use power consumption.

“We’ve seen a lot of interest in our TELRAN range of products so we’re really glad to be making them available worldwide now through Mouser’s extensive global network,” said Professor Chris Toumazou, Co-Founder and CEO of Toumaz. “Mouser’s reputation for reliability, wide product range, superior customer support and innovation around new technologies such as the TZ1053 is something we value very highly. This partnership is a key stepping stone on the path to enabling easy access to Toumaz’s technology for our mutual customers.”

“Toumaz’s ambition to push the limits of ultra-low energy technologies makes them exactly the type of partner we look for,” says Russell Rasor, Mouser’s Vice President of Advanced Technology. “Our customers rely on us to provide the widest, most advanced selection of electronic components on the market today and with Toumaz’s line of ultra-low energy wireless products, we have continued to provide just that.”

TZ1053 TELRAN silicon devices, 868MHz and 915MHz versions of the TZ1053 TELRAN RF Modules and supporting TDKs are available to order from Mouser with immediate effect.
