MSC now offers the FTR80361, a 122.400 MHz fundamental mode monolithic crystal filter, from Precision Devices (PDI). The FTR80361 filter features insertion loss of 3 dB maximum, spurious response of 70 dB minimum and increased bandwidth of up to 200 kHz.

The device is provided with a terminating impedance (input/output) of 50 ohms. Pass bandwidth is a minimum of ±35 kHz at 3 dB, with passband ripple 1.0 dB maximum. Stop bandwidth is a maximum of ±768 kHz at 70 dB and ±350 kHz at 60 dB.

To save board space in compact applications, this new crystal filter is housed in a small 25.1 mm x 10.0 mm x 15.00 mm package. A new SMD version is scheduled to be available in Fall 2012.

The wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C makes the FTR80361 suitable for use in harsh industrial environments.
