Rutronik has signed a global distribution agreement with KEMET, which is part of the Yageo Group.

The deal covers KEMET’s range of products such as MLCCs, tantalum, film, and electrolytic capacitors, as well as inductors, varistors, and sensors.

The franchise applies worldwide and enables both companies to implement efficient applications and custom-fit solutions, especially in the automotive, industrial, and medical market segments.

“We help drive innovation piece by piece,” says Dr. Johnny Boan, Head of Global Distribution at YAGEO Group. “The integration of KEMET and Pulse into our global partnership with Rutronik is an essential step to capture the opportunities in next-generation electronic applications, in the areas of autonomous driving, 5G devices, SiC power modules, and edge computing. This partnership is in line with our mission to be the global powerhouse of electronic components for our customers. With Rutronik, we can help customers worldwide use one of the industry’s broadest portfolios of passive component technologies and solutions.”

“KEMET‘s broad product range and excellent product quality open up new opportunities for us to further expand our position in the passive components market,” said Stefan Sutalo, Director, Product Marketing, Passive Components at Rutronik. “The mix of design-in products and standard components matches perfectly with our focus on design support at the customer site. The collaboration also goes hand in hand in terms of the logistical capabilities we demonstrate daily in handling passive components. We are looking forward to working with one of the leading manufacturers in the field of passive components.”
