Sandra, who has been with the distribution group since 2006 won against a strong shortlist of 7 other HR Directors from both the public and private sector, each of whom had made a strong contribution to the performance of their business. The judges particularly recognised Sandra for her work to help drive the transformation of Premier Farnell through a clear people strategy, and in conjunction with the leadership team embed a high performance culture where innovation is embraced, and trust, integrity and respect are valued.
