The announcement is in line with the company’s continuous drive to accelerate electronic design engineering growth and its internationalisation strategy. Premier Farnell and Spansion have extended an already successful US franchise agreement to provide electronic design engineers a broad portfolio of leading Flash memory solutions.

Already available for purchase via the standard web channels of Farnell in Europe, ANZ and India, Premier Electronics in China and Hong-Kong, Newark in the US, and Farnell Newark in ASEAN, Spansion’s memory solution will also be available through Premier Farnell’s element14, the company’s one–stop online technology resource and community created exclusively for electronic design engineers. element14 uses web 2.0 functionality to facilitate interaction, collaboration and information sharing among users.
