Premier Farnell has announced it has become an authorised reseller for TE Connectivity’s recently acquired DEUTSCH non-industrial and commercial transportation brand of products.
This expands Premier Farnell’s position as TE’s largest global high service distributor and will see over 83,000 products being added to its global product portfolio, particularly in the military, aerospace, industrial, and rail transportation product segments. Customers will be able to access these products through their local operating businesses – Farnell element14 (Europe), Newark element14 (USA) and element14 (Asia-Pacific).
TE, which completed its purchase of DEUTSCH in April 2012, designs and manufactures over 500,000 products that connect and protect the flow of power and data inside the products ranging from consumer electronics, energy and healthcare, to automotive, aerospace and communication networks.
