Premier Farnell has announced a global agreement with NVS Technologies AG, a manufacturer of multi-constellation Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver ICs and modules.
Through this arrangement, negotiated by NVS Technologies’ UK & Ireland Representative, Innovelec Solutions Ltd, Premier Farnell and its international subsidiaries including Newark element14, Farnell element14 and element14, will now offer NVS Technologies’ leading professional grade GNSS receiver product line, suited for a wide range of professional tracking and timing equipment, from handheld devices to infrastructure systems.
Premier Farnell’s global customers will now be able to benefit from a wide range of evaluation kits, antennas, OEM Solutions and integrated satellite navigation receivers that reduce end-system cost and time‐to‐market. The devices are ideal for use in LBS and M2M systems, as well as time synchronisation applications such as fleet management and machine control, asset and personal tracking, anti theft systems, surveillance and security systems, Wi-Fi, WiMAX, LTE, GSM and CDMA base station timing.
