Philips Lumleds has completed the full house of high service distributors. In the past week it has clinched deals with Premier Farnell, RS Components, Mouser Electronics to add to an earlier agreement with Digi-Key. All four have become global partners and emphasise the LED supplier’s intent to give design engineers immediate access to its LED technologies and solutions.
“Each of our new distribution partners will have full access to the products, services and people at Philips Lumileds,” commented Pierre-Yves Lesaicherre, Philips Lumileds’ Chief Executive Officer. “With these partnerships, Mouser Electronics, RS Components, Premier Farnell and Digi-Key can provide their customer base with access to the world’s most comprehesive portfolio of application-specific LED solutions.”
Russell Rasor, Mouser’s Vice President of Advanced Technology responded, “Our customers across the globe will now have easy access to Philips Lumileds’s solutions including the Freedom from Binning programme which simplifies the design process to reliably select consistent colour without the need for binning designations.”
