Objet Ltd., the innovation leader in 3D printing for rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing, today announced it has signed a distribution agreement with Anacom Eletrônica Ltda, for the Brazil market. Anacom is a well-established distributor of electro-electronic, mechanical and simulation products, with an extensive customer base throughout Brazil and in the rest of Latin America. The addition of Anacom to Objet’s channel partner ecosystem expands Objet’s reach in Brazil.

Anacom will handle sales and support for the complete range of Objet 3D printers, from the highly affordable Objet desktop 3D printers, through professional Objet Eden 3D printers and Objet Connex multi-material 3D printers.

The appointment of Anacom is part of Objet’s strategic focus on expanding its penetration into emerging markets where the local market potential for rapid prototyping is highest. Earlier this year, as part of that same strategy, Objet appointed Renata Sollero as Regional Manager for South America. Sollero will work closely with Anacom to ensure success in the market.

“We are very proud to have been selected as an Objet distributor in Brazil,” said Carlos Eugenio Lion, President and Director of Anacom. “Through our local sales and technical support teams and based on our national coverage synergy with our other business units, we believe we will add significant value to Objet’s business in Brazil.”

Amir Sheinman, General Manager of Emerging Markets at Objet, commented: “We are excited to begin working with Anacom as a strong dealer in Brazil as they have an excellent reputation and we have great confidence in their expertise and experience with the relevant target customers. With its wide network of potential customers, Anacom is ideally suited to help us continue providing high-quality and local representation. We’re looking forward to joining forces with them.”
