APC has dedicated its APC Displays+ products team to distribute the NLT Technologies line of display products. The move follows a UK distribution agreement between the two companies. APC Displays+ will be in the vanguard to help NLT increase its market share in the UK. It is NLT’s first single line distributor.
St Neots-based APC Displays+ will focus on selling and supporting NLT’s portfolio of quality high spec displays through a range of dedicated technical initiatives. These include regular hands-on workshops, an on-line forum and application videos, as well as specialist technical support and a swift response demonstration service.
On signing the agreement, APC’s CEO, Mark Robinson said: “This is a significant validation of the displays expertise we have within our organisation. NLT and Renesas are key names in the electronics industry and our appointment demonstrates recognition of the value we offer to both them and customers for their leading edge technology. It also underlines our commitment to continue to invest for growth in our component business in general which we believe has solid prospects for the foreseeable future.”

NLT has a high-mix portfolio of around 100 different TFT LCDs in sizes from 3.5in. to 21.3in. to provide optimum solutions in applications ranging from instrumentation to medical and broadcast to retail, including Daylight Viewable, 3D and Projected capacitive touchscreen solutions (PCAP).
