Bofa International has appointed the Solder Connection as non exclusive distributor for the UK and Ireland. The agreement covers the entire BOFA range of fume extraction units, which have a reputation for combining high quality and reliability with low cost of ownership.

“We are pleased to have come to this agreement with the Solder Connection,” said Geoff Williams, Bofa’s UK Sales Manager. “It’s encouraging to work with a quality approved organisation that has achieved such a presence and profile in the market place.”

The Solder Connection can now offer its customers a wider range of extraction possibilities and for the first time a choice of cabinets for fume and dust extraction. Fume cabinets, as referenced in the Governments HSG 258 Code of Practice, are becoming increasingly popular for controlling airborne contaminants in a variety of industries.
“Bofa International provides us with a far more extensive range of high quality fume extraction solutions which will enable us to approach new markets such as laser processing and mechanical engineering,” said Martyn Penfold, Solder Connection Managing Director. “I am also encouraged by the company’s commitment to R & D in order to keep pace with the new demands made by the ever more stringent legislation on air quality in the workplace.”

Bofa also includes in its offering a range of high capacity extraction units that are intended for direct interfacing with process machines that require remote extraction.
