Mouser today announced it is stocking new PX series 32-Bit power architecture microcontrollers from Freescale Semiconductor.

Freescale’s PX Series 32-bit Power Architecture Microcontrollers are system-on-chip devices that are built on Power Architecture technology and contain enhancements that improve the architecture’s fit within embedded applications. They include additional instruction support for digital signal processing while integrating technologies such as an enhanced time processor unit, enhanced queued analogue-to-digital converter, Controller Area Network, and an enhanced modular input-output system.

The PX Series family of 32-bit microcontrollers deliver unparalleled performance for the most complex industrial control applications, including motion control, power generation, clinical medical, aerospace and defence, motor drives, robotics and more. The advanced and cost-efficient host processor core of the PX Series family complies with the Power Architecture embedded category. It operates at speeds up to 264 MHz and offers high-performance processing optimized for low power consumption.
