Mouser Electronics has given its IoT offering a boost by signing a global distribution agreement with Bosch Connected Devices and Solutions. Capitalising on the Bosch Group’s expertise in microelectro-mechanical system (MEMS) sensors, Bosch Connected Devices and Solutions integrates the small but powerful technology into smart devices that extend IoT systems to many different applications.
On the shelves at Mouser will be the XDK Cross-Domain Development Kit, an integrated prototyping platform for virtually any IoT application. With state-of-the-art MEMS sensor technology and ready-to-use software packages, it enables developers to quickly build IoT applications based on a CE-, FCC-, and IC-certified platform.

The kit is a hardware- and software-development platform for IoT use cases and proof-of-concept pro-jects. The compact (60mm × 40mm) kit features a full array of Bosch sensors — including an accelero-meter, gyroscope, magnetometer, and environmental sensors — and a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 microcontroller with 1 MByte of flash and 128 kBytes of RAM.
The XDK110 software includes the XDK Workbench, a development platform that provides a direct interface to the XDK community as well as high-level and low-level sensor application programming interfaces (APIs) to give developers immediate access to the provided hardware components.
