We will continue to focus on driving value for our customers, by satisfying their needs and purchasing habits, and making it easy for them to do business with us. We will continue to be a disruptive force in this ever-evolving industry, introducing new technologies and innovative solutions.

“I am proud of our education programme to improve young people’s understanding of engineering and to encourage them to enter the profession. Our Titan II innovation truck showcases numerous technologies and gives students the chance to interact with them, learning how engineers use them in industry. Our partnership with STEM Learning has prompted our people to commit their time to support youngsters in their education. I intend to keep these efforts at the forefront of the organisation to ensure we continue to inspire and nurture the engineers of tomorrow,” he added.

Mike England, President EMEA at RS, said: “Since joining RS two years ago, Pete has used his extensive industry experience in commercial and operational roles to drive high performance and transformational change, earning him much respect among his peer group and colleagues across the business.

“I have thoroughly enjoyed my time leading the Northern European team in the UK, Scandinavia and Ireland, and I am confident Pete is the right man to take the reins and continue to move the business forward.”
