Revving up its coverage of the space and hi-rel business in Europe Avnet Memec has named Paul Leys (pictured) as a dedicated Technical Marketing Manager.
His brief is to deliver a pan-European strategy to grow the Space & Hi-Rel business across all relevant suppliers as well as managing the E2V and Micross lines directly. Paul will join the Technical Marketing Management team reporting to Bill Walker, Vice President, Technical Marketing at Avnet Memec and in addition cover a number of customers in Central Europe.

Leys joins Avnet Memec from MSC Vertriebs GmbH where he has held the position of Hi-Rel sales manager for Central and Eastern Europe for the last 22 years. He brings extensive experience of the European electronics markets and holds a BSc Honours degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from the University of Edinburgh.
