A LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 is up for grabs in a competition organised by Farnell element14 and Panasonic to find the best design using a Panasonic PAN1325 Classic Bluetooth module.
The MINDSTORMS EV3 allows the user to build and take control a variety of robots.
The PAN1325 provides easily integrated Bluetooth connectivity into new and current designs by removing RF design and certification barriers from the application.
Simon Meadmore, Head of Supplier Management Europe, Farnell element14, said: “Partnering with Panasonic and LEGO we are asking people to enter our competition by telling us what you would do if you owned a Panasonic PAN1325 Classic Bluetooth Module. Would you design a remotely controlled coffee machine, an alarm system for a house, a child’s toy or an industrial application? Participants are encouraged to be creative and submit their entries online in any format such as a blog, picture, YouTube or Vine video.”
The winner of the competition will be selected for their creativity and ingenuity and will receive a LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 Ten runner ups will receive £50 vouchers to spend online at farnell.com.
Matthias Frey, Product Marketing Director, Electronic Devices Section 1 at Panasonic, added:“Due to the very famous brand name LEGO holds for all age ranges, new opportunities for Panasonic Bluetooth Modules within high class toys are being opened up to increase the awareness of the brand for electronic devices. We are delighted to collaborate with LEGO and look forward to further collaboration.”
