Karim Khebere has been appointed as Corporate Vice President and Managing Director of the EMEA region for Future Electronics.
Industry veteran Khebere previously worked for 20 years at EBV Elektronik, where he rose from the role of field applications engineer to become Vice-President for Technical Development (EMEA).
At Future Electronics, Khebere will be in charge of all EMEA business units and territories, including the company’s vertical market operations: Future Lighting Solutions, Future Connectivity Solutions and Future Power Solutions. He replaces Ralf Buehler.
A qualified engineer, Khebere has years of hands-on experience supporting customers’ design engineering teams. He understands the importance of technical and applications experts in helping OEMs benefit from the new products and technologies available from the world’s leading electronics component manufacturers.
Khebere said: ‘I am really excited about the prospect of spending time with suppliers, customers and our own engineers, to build on the excellent customer services that Future Electronics already offers, and to develop new ways for the company to help customers succeed in fast-moving and competitive markets.’
