The impetus amongst distributors to strengthen their lighting technology offerings has continued with Anglia Lighting completing a UK and Eire agreement with Inventronics. The deal allows Anglia to offer its customers higher power drivers up to 300W as well as sealed units for outdoor and industrial applications.

According to Gene King, Director of International Business Development at Inventronics, “Our rapid growth in the US market leads us to believe that we could be equally successful in Europe with the right channel partner. In Anglia Lighting, we have found that partner – a company that really understands LED technology, is able to work closely with customers at the design level to ensure that they specify the right solution for their design, and then follow through with exceptional logistical support as the design moves into volume production.”

Mark Pinkney, Divisional Marketing Manager, Anglia Lighting, added, “Our new partnership with Inventronics is highly complementary to the existing Anglia Lighting range. It is one of the world’s top LED driver manufacturers and our agreement allows us to support applications and markets where we previously didn’t offer a solution. The new line brings us more IP rated solutions for outdoor and industrial lighting applications, as well as higher power drivers up to 300W, and a range of cost-effective constant voltage units.”

Inventronics LED drivers and power supplies comply with worldwide safety and EMC requirements and come with optional lightning proof (IEC-61000-4-5 Class 4) and waterproof (IP67) features. The company’s manufacturing facilities in Hangzhou, China are ISO90001 certified, and include a safety lab authorised by the IEC CB, UL and TUV. Inventronics high power LED drivers employ innovative circuit design and packaging technologies, to achieve efficiency up to 94%, a power factor up to 0.99, high reliability, and long life. The company holds 50 US and Canadian patents for its LED driver technology, and has filed for a further 200.

Anglia Lighting’s range of solid state lighting products includes high and mid power LEDs, supported by driver modules as well as discrete semiconductors for LED driving. It also offers thermal management technologies as well as secondary optics.
