IGT Industries and Acal BFi – a division of Acal plc – have announced a strategic distribution agreement which allows Acal BFi to become IGT Industries’ first ever distributor.
The new agreement, which was effective from July 17th, will provide design engineers access to IGT’s custom made MMI/HMI control panels in the UK and across Europe, supported by the technical expertise and valued added services available from Acal BFi’s specialist sales teams. IGT Industries have been at the fore-front of Man Machine Interface technology for more than twenty years and have been responsible for many technological innovations now in common use. These include numerous backlighting techniques, integral RFI screening and most recently the development of capacitive switching systems, both touch screen based and single press control panels with optional back-lighting.

Acal BFi’s level of expertise and knowledge relating to the HMI market make them an ideal distribution partner. IGT Industries’ HMI products may be specified for use in environmentally hostile conditions and are suitable for use in Marine, Aviation, Railway, Medical, MIL, Industrial, Fire, Security, Telecom and most other electronics applications.
