Industry veteran Dave Martin has been appointed Director of Business Development at specialist distributor Foremost Electronics.
Most recently Managing Director and Sales Director for UK and Northern Europe at nVent Schroff, the market leading enclosure manufacturer, Dave has first-hand experience of both direct and distribution sales.
Alan Vincent, Sales Director of Foremost Electronics, says, “I have known Dave for a number of years, and we have a great working relationship. As our markets are evolving it was clear that our existing component distribution sales model needed updating to include a more integrated systems solution-based approach, a role for which he is ideally suited.”
Martin has experience of test and measurement, communications, aerospace and defence, rail and other markets and a strong background in systems including VME, CPCI, VPX.

Foremost Electronics Ltd have been a direct importer and specialist distributor of electro-mechanical components including enclosures and accessories, connectors, control knobs, thermal fuses and optoelectronics, man-machine interface and switching products since 1989. Foremost are also a supplier of joysticks and controllers for both OEM and stand-alone applications.
