Farnell, the leading multi-channel distributor of electronic and industrial components has announced that it has reached an exclusive agreement with Würth Elektronik, the leading Electronic Interconnect & Electromechanical Solutions provider, to stock its SuperSpeed USB 3.0 connectors.
Würth’s SuperSpeed USB connectors offer a bandwidth of up to five Gbit/s; up to ten times faster than USB2.0. The connectors have an additional five lines but still offer backward compatibility with existing USB peripheral cables. The connectors have UL94-V0 approval and utilise halogen-free, high temperature housings.
In addition to the new connectors, Farnell also stocks numerous other components from Würth including circuit protection and common mode noise filters to support the integration of SuperSpeed USB on printed circuit boards (PCBs).
