Advanced Power Electronics has signed a global distribution deal with Premier Farnell for its range of power semiconductors. Under the terms of the agreement, Farnell element14 will offer Advanced Power’s complete range of power MOSFETs, IGBTs and power ICs worldwide.
A bullish Ralph Waggitt (pictured), President and Chief Executive Officer of Advanced Power Electronics pledged to promote new products with engineering support and NPI quantities through the distributor.
He added, “Our parts offer designers a winning combination of performance, reliability and cost-effectiveness. We are delighted that customers of Premier Farnell who are looking for power semiconductor solutions for new designs can now choose easy on-line access and off-the-shelf delivery of our products from Premier Farnell’s comprehensive product and supplier portfolio. We do offer a very broad range of products and have focused on bringing the most popular parts online quickly, and will expand the offering over the coming months to include our entire standard product offering.”
Waggett also sees the deal adding another asset to his company with Farnell element14’s support for the MRO community. “This same easy access and fast off-the-shelf delivery of smaller quantities will help them to minimise down-time due to repairs and maintenance,” he commented.
