Mike England has been named as UK Country Manager by RS Components (RS). He will join the company on November 16 2015 and will be based in Corby. His core remit will be to grow the UK business by focussing on customers’ needs.
England (pictured) brings extensive industry experience to RS from a number of business development and sales roles. He previously worked for Brammer UK where he was Sales Director. Prior to this, he held senior positions at electrical wholesalers Newey & Eyre and Hagemeyer UK.
He has a MEng degree in Engineering & Business Management from the University of Birmingham.
Klaus Göldenbot, President, RS Industrial commented: “We are delighted that Mike is joining RS to lead our UK business. We are the largest high service distributor in the UK and this remains an important market for us. Returning the UK business to revenue growth is a key focus and I am looking forward to working closely with Mike to realise our ambitions.”
