Sign European Distribution Agreement with Energy Micro of Norway

Avnet Memec, the highly specialized semiconductor distributor of Avnet Electronics Marketing EMEA, announced today that it has signed a pan-European distribution agreement with Energy Micro®. Under the terms of this agreement, Avnet Memec will distribute Energy Micro’s complete range of ultra low power EFM32 Gecko microcontroller products. The agreement will be effective March 1st, 2010.

Energy Micro’s mission is to develop, market and sell the world’s most energy friendly microcontrollers, based on the modern and powerful ARM Cortex-M3 architecture.
