Oliver Kanzler, Director of the RF & Wireless vertical segment at EBV, explains the thinking behind the website launch. “Most websites in our sector do not respond to the individual RF & Wireless needs of our customers,” he says. “This microsite, specially tailored to those needs, includes information on all aspects of the high-frequency sector, offering a highly individualized platform for this segment.”
The background information on the website covers everything from automotive and consumer electronics to medical and Hi-Rel applications and renewable energies/industrial electronics. On the applications end, the microsite provides information on a wide range of topics. Visitors to the website will find headings such as “Basestation” and “Broadcast”, along with “Connectivity”, “Industrial Scientific Medical RF” and “Radar”.
The Consumer Electronics area shows just how completely the website covers the current range of applications. It takes users to microsites that offer detailed information on TVs & set-top boxes, portable navigation devices, computer peripherals, tablets and e-readers, gaming consoles and remote controls. Another click takes the user from there to the level of semiconductors that can be used specifically with the application in question.
