Digi-Key has added to its LED lighting portfolio by signing a global distribution agreement with Heatron, a LED products and solutions provider.
Heatron’s LED products for interior and exterior illumination include LED boards and modules for recessed and pendant mounted downlights, track lighting, linear lighting and area lighting. The company’s LED modules are optimised for thermal management, optical efficiency, and mechanically designed for easy implementation into luminaires. Heatron’s versatile high performance modules are available with a choice of luminous flux, beam angles, CCT’s and CRI’s for luminaire manufacturers.
“When designing LED end products, OEMs are always looking for ways to decrease cost and get their products out the door faster,” said Mark Zack, Digi-Key Vice President, Global Semiconductor Product. “Heatron’s modules balance performance and simplicity, allowing for easy implementation and speeding time to market. We are excited to add their LED solutions to our broad lighting product selection.”
Heatron’s LED modules are designed, tested, and assembled in the USA and backed by a five-year warranty. Additionally, most modules are UL8750 recognised which reduces testing costs and gets products developed faster with fewer development costs.
